VOLUNTEER and SERVICE LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES

Volunteer and Opportunities for Individuals or
Small Groups (3 or under)

There are many opportunities to work at the farm. We continually need help with farm chores and general farm maintenance. Be prepared for a hard, but fun-filled morning, afternoon or full day of work at the Farm. Wear sturdy shoes, gloves, hat, sunscreen and long sleeve for our comfort and protection.

Intern Opportunities

Also, if you would like to learn about organic farming and work part-time at the farm, there are internship positions available. We regret that at present these are non-paying positions.

Service Learning Opportunities for Groups of 4 or More

School groups, companies and organizations are invited to schedule a morning, an afternoon or a full day at the farm. You will learn while you help the farmers in their seasonal chores. Some of these activities may include composting, planting, soil preparation, harvesting and getting the produce ready for market. Come ready to get your hands “dirty”.

Volunteer Work Days

Periodically throughout the year, the Farm organizes Volunteer Work Days. Usually on a Saturday, the Farm staff will call for volunteers to help with specific projects.
